Why does the washing machine jump
If the washing machine jumps, it can be caused by several reasons:
- Incorrect distribution of laundry in the drum. Make sure there is no tilt in the drum and the laundry is evenly distributed. If the laundry is uneven, the machine may start jumping during the washing cycle.
- Uneven weight distribution. If there is only one heavy item in the drum (for example, a dense blanket or a pair of jeans), the machine may start jumping due to uneven weight distribution. Try to wash laundry with similar weights to avoid this problem.
- Incorrect installation and improper leveling of the machine. Make sure the machine is installed on a flat surface and properly leveled. Improper leveling can cause the washing machine to jump during operation.
- Worn-out springs or shock absorbers. If the springs or shock absorbers of the washing machine are old or worn out, they may become ineffective and cause the machine to jump. In this case, it is recommended to contact a specialist to replace these parts.
If the problem persists, it is not recommended to disassemble or repair the washing machine by yourself. It is better to seek the help of professionals for diagnosis and troubleshooting.
